Thank you,
Thank you all who are aware of this theatre. If you were ever a part of a production, directed, acted, volunteered, or even just heard of us and liked the idea. Without you this theatre would never had happened.
It means more to me than I could ever tell you in mere words.
This dream that has come true must come to an end because of circumstances outside of my control. I hate to see it get cut short before it really got up and going, but that is how it is, and that is where we are today.
This theatre in its short run has produced 6 shows (1 show twice), 3 sketch comedy shows, 2 movie nights, a short film, 1 poetry night, a huge fundraiser, a dance concert, been a member of Artwalk, had many rehearsals, many auditions, many outside events, many memories, and on top of every thing we have been shut down and came right back with our guns blazing.
Blood, sweat, and many tears have been shed to do what has been done. And I hope that you were all a part of it, if not then you missed out. I hope nothing for the best in the future of the space with the Vandivort Center Theatre taking over, but most of all I hope for the idea and essence of this theatre to remain. This has been the hardest, most rewarding experience I’ve ever had….
and I’m just getting started
Thank you all,
Jared Lee
(Former Artistic Director)
